Rev. Daniel Johnson currently serves the Lord as Eurasia Area Representative for Church Relations in the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS). He assumed the position in 2016 after spending several years as a missionary in Siberia and the Baltic countries; he continues to serve as president of the Siberian Lutheran Mission Society (SLMS). Rev. Johnson and his wife, Amy, are members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa, where he served as senior pastor from 1993-2012.
As Area Representative, Rev. Johnson travels extensively in the Eurasia region, representing the President’s Office at official functions, participating in meetings and seminars, providing catechetical and theological education, and accompanying church officials on visits. Please keep Rev. Johnson in your prayers as he works to strengthen Lutheran church bodies in this region.
