Rev. Nicholas Belcher was born and raised just north of Dallas, TX where most of his extended family currently resides. He is a lifelong LCMS Lutheran and a veteran of the United States Air Force having honorably served for seven years and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. While he was at his first duty station, he met his beautiful bride, Lauren, whom he married towards the end of his time on active duty. After fulfilling his military obligation, Rev. Belcher and his wife moved to Southern California where they both attended Concordia University Irvine. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in History and Political Thought, Rev. Belcher attended Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne and completed his studies this past May. Almighty God has blessed the Belcher Family with two boys, Elijah and Amos, and now they have a third child on the way! Rev. Belcher is overjoyed to be called to serve St. John’s as the Associate Pastor and, Lord-willing, he looks forward to many years of faithful service here to the glory of the Triune God.
