Worship Conference

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Topeka, KS, is hosting its seventh annual Worship Conference that provides continuing education and conversation for pastors, church musicians, and congregation members interested in the song and worship of the Church.

The keynote speaker for this year’s conference is Rev. Roberto E. Rojas, Jr., pastor of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Winter Garden, FL. He attended the Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN, where he received his M. Div. and STM. During his studies at the seminary, Rojas participated in a year-long exchange program in the Westfield House in Cambridge, England, and also in the Seminário Concórdia in São Leopoldo, Río Grande do Sul, Brazil. He has done a lot of work on liturgy and missions, confessing the faith, and catechesis, and he is also a musician. Rojas currently serves on the Board of International Mission.
