Worship Conference
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Topeka, KS, hosted its eighth annual Worship Conference to provide continuing education and conversation for pastors, church musicians, and congregation members interested in the song and worship of the Church.
The keynote speaker for this year’s conference was Rev. W. Max Mons, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Chapel in Iowa City, IA. In 1992 he attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, where he received his M. Div. and STM. Before his current call, he served as pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Luzerne, IA. He currently serves as chairman for the Board of Regents for Concordia Seminary.
