The Old Latin School

The International Lutheran Center at the Old Latin School (OLS), provides a place for people to learn, grow, study, meet, retreat, and experience the Gospel in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, home of the Reformation. The center is directly adjacent to St. Mary’s City Church, or Stadtkirche, where through the countless sermons of Martin Luther and others, the Christian Church was re-formed. Stemming from the new approach to education being taught by the Wittenberg reformers, the Old Latin School was built in 1564, as the city school for boys. It is truly in the very center of the birthplace of the Reformation.

The International Missions fund at St. John’s supports preaching and teaching in several international locations, including Wittenberg. Click here to support the effort.
